Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers is a central New Mexico nonprofit organization that makes our communities safer by partnering with law enforcement and the media to solicit and reward anonymous tips that prevent, stop and solve crime.
Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, the world’s first Crime Stoppers program, is searching for dynamic, motivated individuals who would like to serve on it’s Board of Directors. We need men and women who are willing to bring Time, Talent, and Treasure to our organization!
Time: Attend monthly board meetings of 1-2 hours; participate actively in one or more board committees; attend scheduled board retreats, planning sessions, and workshops; attend, support, and participate in special events.
Talent: We particularly need members with skills in areas such as investment, special events, public speaking, marketing, and fundraising.
Treasure: Board members are expected to make an annual financial commitment of $1,000 and to actively assist in ongoing fundraising efforts.
We are particularly interested in attracting board members from Sandoval, Valencia and Torrance counties.
