#CRIMEOFTHEWEEK – Endangered Missing

The Albuquerque Police Departments Missing Person Unit is asking for your help in locating 15 year old Collin Romero.   Collin Romero was reported missing by his mother, Amanda Kimbrel, after she was informed that a Snapchat video had circulated showing Collin’s and Ahmed Lateef (pictured below) being beaten in the west mesa area of Albuquerque.  The video showed Collin’s and Ahmed bleeding with what appeared to be broken bones. Ahmed Lateef has a felony warrant and is an absconder of the law.  Information suggest that both Collin’s and Ahmed were involved in a drug deal that may have gone bad in the area of Tivoli Avenue NE and Golden Gate Avenue NE. Both subjects have not been heard from since and their whereabouts are unknown.  Collin Romero was entered into NCIC as an endangered missing person.  If you have any information call Crime Stoppers (505) 843-STOP (7867). You can also submit anonymous tips using the P3 Tips mobile app or at P3tips.com. There is a $1,000 reward being offered for information on their whereabouts.
