AUGUST 28TH TO SEPTEMBER 3RD, 2008
LARCENY

Crime Stoppers needs your help in locating the individual responsible for a larceny of the Fed Ex Kinko’s located at 6220 San Mateo NE.

On Sunday April 20, 2008, at 06:55 AM, officers were dispatched to the Fed Ex Kinko’s at 6220 San Mateo NE. The associate stated that the suspect came into the store and took listed property. She stated that the suspect unhooked a color printer placed it on a chair, then put a plant in place of the printer. Associate stated that the store was empty and only one employee and herself where there at the time of incident. She also observed the suspect go behind the Fed Ex counter and take two packages waiting to be picked up by owner. The suspect also unplugged a digital photo frame and fled from the store. The suspect is described as a male caucasian about 200 lbs. with dark brown hair wearing a white collar shirt and tan pants or shorts.

AUGUST 21ST TO AUGUST 27TH, 2008
ARMED ROBBERY

Crime Stoppers needs your help in locating the individual responsible for the armed robbery of the Circle K located at 1200 San Pedro SE.

On Friday, May 2, 2008, at 9:00 AM, the Circle K located at 1200 San Pedro SE was robbed. The clerk stated that the suspect came into the store and asked her to open the drawer and give him the money. She also stated that the suspect had his left hand in his jacket pocket and held it in a manner to make it appear that he had a gun. At that point the suspect grabbed money from the drawer and then fled through the front door and ran toward the north side of the store. The suspect is described as a black male in his 40’s, about 6’0” and 160 lbs. He had a short afro and was wearing a light brown or tan jacket and pants with a dark colored shirt under the jacket, and was also wearing dark colored shoes.

AUGUST 14TH TO AUGUST 20TH, 2008
ATTEMPTED MURDER

Crime Stoppers needs your help in locating the individuals, responsible for stabbing a male and throwing him in the bushes in the vicinity of Nine Mile Hill in Albuquerque.

On Saturday, June 2, 2007, at approximately 4:00 AM, an altercation occurred at 3958 Montgomery Blvd., between five males. During the course of this altercation, three of the involved males beat one of the males from the opposing side into semi-consciousness and put him in the trunk of a white 1997 Cadillac Seville. The three males drove to the west mesa in the vicinity of nine mile hill where they stabbed the male in the trunk numerous times. The three males took the male out of the trunk, threw him the bushes, and departed the scene. The Cadillac was later recovered on Guadiana Pl. SW.

Suspect #1 , goes by “Rich” (name unknown), Spanish male, early 20’s in age, 5’6” – 5’7” in height, approximately 150 lbs., athletic build, dark complexion, black hair, brown eyes. He was wearing a navy blue jersey that read (rams), dark blue jeans, and dark brown leather boots.

Suspect #2 , goes by “ Milo” (name unknown), Spanish male, early 20’s in age 5’6” – 5’7” in height, approximately 170 – 180 lbs., brown eyes light skin, black hair. Wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.

Suspect #3 , Spanish male, 5’4” in height, late teens, black hair with a faded style hair cut, with a dark complexion. Wearing a white t-shirt with graphics and blue jeans.

AUGUST 7TH TO AUGUST 13TH, 2008
Homicide

Crime Stoppers needs your help in locating the individual or individuals, responsible for the death of Larry Chavez Jr. that occurred in Albuquerque.

On Monday April 7 th, 2008, at 1:11 AM, officers were dispatched to the area of Carlisle and I-40 in reference to Larry Chavez Jr. slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle. Upon arrival, officers observed a gold colored Jaguar parked on the median near the intersection of Carlisle Blvd NE and Interstate 40 (I-40) overpass.

The individual located inside the vehicle was unresponsive and he appeared to be deceased. Rescue personnel were called to the scene to render aid, but the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim, Larry Chavez Jr. died as the result of multiple gunshot wounds.

July 31st to August 6, 2008
Homicide

Crime Stoppers needs your help in locating the individuals responsible for the death of Jose Rivera that occurred in Albuquerque.

Vehicle Description Used in Homicide

On Saturday June 21st, 2008, at about 7:24 PM, an ice cream vendor was shot and killed at the intersection of 11th St. and Coal Av. SW.  Witnesses stated a green Mitsubishi four door with stock rims was seen leaving the scene of the crime.  Police are looking for three subjects.  The driver appeared to be a light skinned hispanic male, thin build with a faded haircut, approximately 20 years old about 5’6” 140 lbs. – 160 lbs. wearing a black and white plaid shirt.  A second suspect a female approximately 20 years old about 5’3” 115 lbs. – 120 lbs. was wearing a hot pink tank top.  A third suspect was a male approximately 17 years of age, 5’6” brown hair, brown eyes and wearing a black and blue jersey shirt.

July 24th to July 30th, 2008
Armed ROBBERY

Crime Stoppers needs your help in locating the individual responsible for the armed robbery of the Circle K located at 1316 Yale SE.

On April 19th, 2008, at about 5:00 AM the Circle K, located at 1316  Yale SE was robbed.  The night clerk stated that the suspect walked up to the counter and asked for a pack of camel filter cigarettes.  He retrieved the cigarettes and the suspect then pulled out a silver semi-auto pistol.  Suspect then told clerk to give him the cigarettes and money and told him he would not get hurt.  The suspect fled from the facility west bound on Kathryn SE.  The suspect was further described to be a hispanic male in his 50’s about 4’8”and medium built, offender was wearing a pair of faded blue jeans, a black harley-davidson t-shirt with an eagle printed on the back and a blue hat with a faded white brim.

July 17th to July 23rd, 2008
Armed ROBBERY

Crime Stoppers needs your help in locating the individual responsible for the armed robbery of the Dairy Queen located at 5500 Kathryn, SE.

On Tuesday May 13th, 2008, at about 8:44 PM, the Dairy Queen, located at 5500 Kathryn, SE was robbed.  One of the victims stated that she was working the drive-thru register when the suspect came up behind her and told her to give him the money.  She opened the register and the suspect reached in and took the money.  The suspect then went to the register on the other side of the store and pointed chrome colored handgun at another cashier.  He then took the money out of the other register and fled out the west door and then south through the neighborhood.  The suspect may have fled in a 90’s tan colored Crown Victoria style vehicle. The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. He was heavy set and had a goatee. The suspect was further described to be a Hispanic male in his 20’s, 5’7”, 220 lbs., bald, with brown eyes. .
